　　The Spring Festival 春节

　　There are many festivals in China. Among them, I like the Spring Festival most.

　　Not only because it’s the biggest festival in the year, but also because it’s a new beginning that brings hope to people and it’s time for family gathering.

　　Before the festival, people come home no matter where they are.

　　Usually, we have a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve.

　　And then families sit together and share their lives or planes.

　　Some will play games or hang out to have some fun.

　　On the New Year’s Day, people get up early and say good words to anyone they meet. Children can get lucky money from relatives.

　　In the following days, we will visit relative’s home and bring New Year’s wishes to them.

　　In short, it’s a time for family gathering and all of us enjoy it.

　　在我国，一年有很多节日，在这些节日中，我最喜欢春节。这不仅因为它是一年中最大的节日，更因为它是新一年的开始，给人们带来新的希望，也因为它是亲朋好友团聚的时刻。不管身在何方，人们总会在春节前回到家里准备过节。通常，我们会在除夕夜吃一顿丰盛的晚餐，之后家人团座一起，分享一年以来的生活以及新年计划。有的人则会玩游戏或者出去玩。大年初一，人们通常会早起，会与见到的人说吉祥话。孩子们会得到压岁钱。在接下来的几天里，人们会带上新年祝福互相串门拜年。总之，春节是一个欢聚一堂、供人享乐的日子。

　　爸爸的生日 My Father’s Birthday

　　Today is my father’s birthday, but he doesn’t celebrate it.

　　It’s because he must work today. I say happy birthday to him in the morning.

　　And I prepare a birthday card for him, which I draw it by myself.

　　I wrote “Happy birthday to you, my dear daddy.

　　Best wishes from your dear daughter. I love you.”

　　When I gave it to him, he was so happy and smiled to me.

　　At night, we have a delicious dinner which is my father’s favorite dishes cooked by my mother.

　　She says it’s her birthday gift to my father. I think it’s enough because we all enjoy the dinner.

　　My father says that my mother and I give him a happy and beloved birthday.

　　今天是我爸爸的生日，但是他没有特别地庆祝，因为他今天还要工作。早上，我对他说生日快乐，并把自己准备的生日贺卡给他。我在贺卡上写：“祝亲爱的爸爸生日快乐，您亲爱的女儿给您送上最美的祝福，我爱您。”我把贺卡送给他时，他开心地对我笑了。晚上，我们吃了一顿美味的晚餐，都是爸爸喜欢的菜色。妈妈说这是她为爸爸准备的生日礼物。我认为这足够了，因为我们都吃得很尽兴。爸爸说我和妈妈给了他一个快乐、情意浓浓的生日。

　　一次车祸

　　Yesterday I saw a car accident when I went to school. It was early in the morning.

　　I got to the gate of my school. Suddenly, I heard the sound of car breaking and screaming.

　　Then, I saw a little boy fall down. The car driver got off his car immediately and checked out the little boy’s situation.

　　Luckily, the boy was not serious and he could stand up under the help of driver.

　　But the driver also decided to send him to hospital and made sure he is OK.

　　I must be more careful ever after.

　　昨天，我在上学途中目睹了一次车祸。早上，当我走到学校门口时，突然听到急刹车的声音和尖叫声。然后，我看到一个小男孩跌倒了。司机马上下车查看小男孩的情况。万幸的是，小男孩并无大碍，司机把他扶了起来。但是司机还是决定送小男孩去医院检查，确保他没事。以后我要更小心才行。

　　糟糕的天气

　　The weather of these days is really bad. It’s foggy and there is haze in the air.

　　So, we can’t see the things very far. Every morning, when I pull back the curtain,

　　I only can see the building dozens miles away. When I go to school,

　　I must be very careful when I go across the street. Besides, the air is dirty because of the haze.

　　I even feel hard to breathe. My mother tells me to wear a respirator. I do as she tells.

　　Because of the bad weather, car accidents happen more frequently.

　　I hope drivers can drive more carefully and keep safe.

　　这几天的天气很差，雾气很大空气中也有很多烟尘。肉眼看不到很远的东西。每天早上我拉开窗帘的时候，都只能看到不远处的建筑物。上学的时候，过马路的时候我必须十分小心。此外，由于阴霾满布，空气很脏，有时候我甚至感觉呼吸困难。妈妈让我带上口罩，我只能照她说的做。由于这样的坏天气，车祸发生的频率更大了，我希望司机们都能小心开车，保证安全。

　　我最好的朋友

　　I make many friends in school. But I have only one best friend. Her name is Susan.

　　She is my classmate, too. Susan is a beautiful and lovely girl. She is taller than me.

　　We often stay together. People say we like sisters. Actually, I regard her as my sister.

　　She works very hard on her study. We often study together and help each other.

　　Her favorite subject is math. She thinks math is interesting and challengeable.

　　She is good at math and our math teacher likes her very much. Besides, she is popular in my class, because she is outgoing and attractive.
